Hanwha Techwin introduced the new WiseNet Q series. Available in 24 camera models, this range of quality hardware features H.265 compression and Wisestream, which combined, offers a 75% improvement on bandwidth efficiency compared to its H.264 predecessor.
The WiseNet Q series is available in 2 MP and 4 MP full HD with a range of technologies to ensure you experience optimised images in all conditions. These technologies include; IR illumination as a standard, lens distortion correction; true wide dynamic range; hallway view; and defocus detection.
• Lens distortion correction (LDC) compensates for the image distortion that can occur with wide angle lenses.
• The hallway view feature minimises bandwidth and video storage as the cameras can generate 9:16 x 3:4 aspect ratio images. This is ideal for narrow, vertical areas including aisles, corridors and tunnels.
• Defocus detection is a feature on all Q series cameras that recognises when the camera is out of focus. In addition, the 4 MP models are equipped with a varifocal lens which can be adjusted over the network – reducing installation time.
The series also includes additional features like PoE/DC dual power, motion and tamper detection and board edge-based storage options, including SDHC and SDXC as well as NAS or 128 GB microSD.
