Dahua Technology announced the HCVR 7000-4M series, the latest generation digital video recorder series adopting HDCVI technology and allowing long-distance HD transmission at low cost. This series support up to 16 channels of HDCVI/CVBS inputs, 8 channels of IP cameras, 16 channels local live-view channels, and 16 playback channels.
The HCVR supports 4+2, 8+4, 16+8 IP camera inputs and each channel can handle up to 5 MP HD resolution (2560 x 1920) for recording and live viewing. The HDCVI/CVBS Auto-Detect function can auto-recognise the signal from the camera without any setting. It makes operation more user friendly and convenient.
Smart H.264+ saves up to 70% bandwidth and storage space without any change to the cameras. The HCVR7000-4M series will achieve 4K HDCVI access through a firmware upgrade in future.
With built-in IVS (Intelligent Video System), the HCVR 7000-4M series has the ability to detect and analyse moving objects. The HCVR provides optional standard intelligence at the edge allowing detection of multiple object behaviors such as abandoned or missing objects. IVS also supports tripwire analytics, allowing the camera to detect when a pre-determined line has been crossed. In addition, these series simultaneously support other intelligent functions such as face detection and smart search.
