Suprema announced the integration of its biometric devices with Software House C·CURE 9000, a security and event management system through Entertech System’s BioConnect identity management platform. The integration supports the full line-up of Suprema’s latest biometric terminals and devices, most notably FaceStation, Suprema’s face recognition.
Said Young S. Moon, VP at Suprema, “The power of true identity with use of biometrics is becoming a necessity rather than an option as the world is becoming more unstable, and higher security is demanded. Suprema’s high performance premium line of terminals along with best class technology will meet the demand admirably.”
The integration allows operators to manage a single user record for both standard access and biometric access control, while providing flexible operation modes that can be customised to suit specific security needs. The integration syncs the individual systems into the C·CURE 9000 system and introduces biometric capabilities from fingerprint to face recognition on top of PIN and card giving the option for multi-factor authentication that leads to increased security.
Suprema FaceStation offers real-time matching speed with 1:1000 matches in one second. It is able to track a face with more accuracy by constantly adapting to the changing expressions of a face. FaceStation also embeds technology to distinguish individuals in the dark, and its recognition algorithm provides the ability to even differentiate twins and partially covered faces with such articles as glasses or hijabs.
Additionally, C·CURE 9000 is integrated with Suprema’s full line-up of fingerprint access control and time and attendance terminals, such as BioStation 2, BioStation T2, BioEntry W and BioEntry Plus readers that are all part of the Tyco Security Products portfolio.
