Award for Beagle Watch

Beagle Watch Armed Response was awarded the overall title of the Service Excellence category at the ROCCI (Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Annual Business of the Year Awards Conference 2015.

ROCCI, in conjunction with FNB, held its annual Business of the Year Awards last year at the Misty Hills Country Hotel in Muldersdrift. The main purpose of the awards was to identify those businesses that add great value to the Roodepoort and surrounding economy, and also give the community the opportunity to recognise leadership, innovation and service.

The now 11-year-old Beagle Watch Armed Response’s operation has grown from strength to strength over the years. This has earned Beagle Watch the title of number one security operation in the Northern suburbs. Its main strategy and USP is its commitment to quick emergency response times, arriving at their client’s side in just two minutes.

“We have always believed that, in order to be successful, we would need to operate differently to traditional armed response companies. In our business, we are entrusted with the protection of the lives and property of our clients, which is a massive responsibility. In order to fulfil our obligations, we believe that every second counts and that resources must be available to deliver on our promise,” said Dave Casey, MD of the Beagle Watch Armed Response Group. “Getting to the scene is the most important part of our job, and research has also told us that timing is what it is all about, and this is a primary goal within our company – it’s our mission to ensure we get to the customer on time every time.”

“In order to ensure outstanding service levels, we have also not grown Beagle Watch’s range and customer base endlessly, as other operators have done. If we cannot guarantee our service levels within an area, we will not expand there until we can. This ensures that each and every customer receives personalised service, and also that we have enough staff and vehicles on the road to retain our speedy response times and high visibility.

“We take pride in protecting communities and in providing them with great service. For this reason, we at Beagle Watch are delighted to be recognised with this award from ROCCI,” said Casey.
