A five gigahertz point-to-point synchronised radio with an integrated antenna, targeted at high performance enterprise and industrial applications such as wireless CCTV backhaul, is available from Duxbury Networking.
The Cambium ePMP Force 110 PTP is designed to present users with a wide range of solutions to match growing demands for the wireless delivery of increasingly media-rich services such as video surveillance.
“The Force 110 has a throughput of 220 megabits-per-second with an exceptionally low latency of just two milliseconds,” says Andy Robb, chief technology officer at Duxbury Networking. “This is combined with quality-of-service management for triple play services – voice, video and data – and a long deployment range.”
Key features of the Force 110 PTP include a 802.3af standard compliant Gigabit Ethernet port and a 25 dBi (decibels relative to an isotropic radiator) with 30 dBm (decibels relative to a milliWatt) of transmit power. It comes with eFortify and eCommand, Cambium’s software offerings.
eFortify was developed to recognise and react to external interference in high noise environments, helping to sustain the performance of the system under challenging environments, while eCommand provides a suite of management tools designed to plan, provision and monitor the network.
“Both provide operators with the ability to confidently deploy high performance wireless networks with greater visibility and control,” adds Robb.
