The Transport Asset Protection Association (TAPA) in South Africa has announced it will hold its annual conference at Emperors Palace on 17 July 2015. Members and non-members are invited to attend or to nominate staff to attend the event at no charge.
Past attendees have agreed that the presentations offered at this event have proved invaluable to operations, risk and security managers.
Just before the conference, TAPA’s Facility Security Requirements (FSR) training will take place on 13 and 14 July 2015 at DB Schenker in Kempton Park. Training is open to both TAPA members and non-members. Non-members will be charged R650 per head. The Transport Security Requirements (TSR) training will take place on 15 and 16 July 2015 at the same venue.
TAPA training equips attendees with measuring tools to mitigate risk in their immediate work environment. The association also provides a certification process. Training is limited to 25 seats per module and the conference caters for 60 seats only. The training and conference events include meals and drinks.
