The Synectics Omni turnkey solution gives CCTV system designers an unrestricted choice in the specification and mix of manufacturers' cameras, camera domes, VCRs, digital recorders, multiplexers and other essential peripheral products - without the need for additional interfacing hardware.

* Product compatibility: supporting its out-of-the-box ability to control most leading manufacturers' CCTV products, new or updated peripheral protocols can be readily uploaded to Omni.

* Multiple views: to provide optimum surveillance coverage of any zone, any number of selected cameras and specified pre-set positions can be assigned to a bank of monitors.

* Multiple keyboard control: provision for up to 99 system operators from either single or multiple keyboards.
