Duxbury Networking has released the ePMP Force 110 PTP, Cambium Networks’ new point-to-point connectivity solution targeting CCTV backhaul applications in enterprise and industrial environments.
A key feature of the new radio is an integrated, long range 25 dBi antenna, designed to enhance the functionality of the device in security applications such as video surveillance. Other features include throughput of up to 220 Megabits per second (Mbps) and a 802.3af compliant Gigabit Ethernet port facilitating Power over Ethernet (PoE) operability.
“In addition, the Force 110 PTP achieves a commendable two millisecond (ms) round trip latency and a high processing capability for optimum throughput,” says Andy Robb, chief technology officer at Duxbury Networking.
The unit comes pre-loaded with Cambium Networks’ latest software which includes eFortify and eCommand modules. “eFortify was developed to recognise and react to external interference in high noise environments, while eCommand provides a suite of management tools with which to plan, provision and monitor the network,” explains Robb. “They provide operators with the ability to confidently deploy high performance networks offering greater visibility and control.”
