Dahua has introduced the DH-M30 video-wall controller, combining video-wall control functionality and decoding in one device.
The DH-M30 offers quality video-wall control capability, allowing various video sources to be distributed and displayed on the video wall in a flexible way. Video sources include local input signals, such as CVBS, VGA, DVI, HDMI and HD-SDI along with mainstream network signals including IPCs, DVRs and NVRs. The key differentiator to other image controllers on the market is its decoding function, which makes the whole system even more integrated. The device handles up to a maximum of 13 channels at 1080p decoding, providing true reproduction and display of the original surveillance scenarios.
What is worth a mention is that the device is modular in design and the hot swap cards make maintenance convenient. The system is based on a Web-based interface, which is to say one can operate and manage it on any PC without running additional software. In addition, the DH-M30 supports up to 9 video wall display units with configuration modes of 2x2, 2x3, 2x4 and 3x3. This is the ideal for small to medium size control centres requiring reliable and smooth operation while maintaining accurate management of the whole surveillance system. The Dahua DH-M30 video-wall can now also be incorporated in the new Dahua Smart PSS software which runs on a Windows infrastructure.
