AcoustAlert is an IP based audio analyser which has been specifically designed for intrusion detection for outdoor perimeter fencing and wall barriers as well as for internal building protection for vaults and high-security facilities.
AcoustAlert uses Advanced Digital Acoustic Signal Processing (ADASP), to analyse the piezoelectric and/or triboelectric kinetic signals from a connected sensor cable to activate an alarm in the event of climbing, cutting or disturbing perimeter fencing as well as impacts to walls and structures to which the sensor cable is attached to or where built into concrete structures.
The AcoustAlert field processors are available in network (for large systems) and stand-alone configuration with and without user defined I/O. The network version is controlled from a server PC with client access with GUI site map configurations. The stand-alone version is laptop configurable with an AcoustAlert software set-up utility. All software is Windows 7, 64 bit compatible.
Performance features:
• Two independent sensor cable inputs, i.e. two detection zones per field processor.
• Zone detection cable length: up to 300 metres per zone.
• Standard computer LAN TCP/IP network connectivity for all system devices.
• User adjustment of detection sensitivity levels.
• High probability of detection.
• Low nuisance alarm rate.
• Expert ambient noise reduction.
• Lightning and surge protection on all inputs and outputs.
• Two independent line level audio outputs “talk back to the intruder”.
