Sunell launched a new range of network cameras, part of its S2 line, at a function held in Shenzhen, China in August. The new Aurora series consists of a range of high-resolution cameras, from IR bullet cameras, dome cameras, box cameras and the company’s latest fisheye camera, offering a range of image resolutions, from two to eight megapixels to ensure customers are able to choose a solution suited to every task.
The Aurora series makes its mark by including the first dual-core processing platform inside the camera, a first in the industry, but at the same time saving on power efficiency. Other features include Sunell’s 4D Triple Light technology which delivers less noise and clearer images in poor lighting conditions, as well as Sunell’s fisheye dewarp solution which allows for the more efficient display of multiple views from 180- and 360-degree video streams. The Aurora range also includes integrated intelligent analytic capabilities, such as motion or object detection, with a high-accuracy recognition rate.
The products are also packed with additional features expected from Sunell, such as dynamic-WDR, a new corridor format that allows customers to easily switch to 16:9 viewing when required, all while consuming a low bitrate to save on bandwidth while maximising image quality.
