HID Corporation, an ASSA Abloy Group company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Motorola's worldwide RFID access control business, previously known as Indala. This business has its headquarters in San Jose, California. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2001, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
