Axis Communications has released the compact Axis M3027-PVE fixed dome network camera with 5-megapixel resolution that offers a 360° or 180° panoramic overview of wide areas.
“With the introduction of M3027-PVE, we further strengthen our line-up of discreet and affordably priced fixed domes by adding an outdoor-ready, 360° / 180° panoramic video surveillance solution,” says Jason McGregor, sales manager at Axis Communications. “The camera also has substantial capacity for intelligent video applications and supports a wide range of video management software including the complimentary Axis Camera Companion for small system surveillance.”
The camera provides de-warped views such as panorama, double panorama and quad views, as well as view area modes where users can digitally pan, tilt and zoom in on areas of interest. Multiple streams in H.264 and Motion JPEG can be sent simultaneously, and M3027-PVE offers I/O ports for connection to external devices.
All cameras in the AXIS M30 Series come focused at delivery, which means shorter installation time, and they support Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) to eliminate the need for power cables and reduce installation costs.
