Accessing time and attendance

September 2014 Access Control & Identity Management

The Paxton Group has announced an integration of its Net2 access control system with Jarrison Systems’ time and attendance software. The integration with Jarrison Time will provide users with a complete operating experience, changing the way access permissions and time periods are monitored and managed, reaping the benefits of both access control and time management under one interface.

The integrated system brings further increased functionality and operational benefits, including allowing users to record employee time sheets for payroll purposes, as well as the ability to clock transactions and deliver employee reminders.

Gareth O’Hara, sales and marketing director, said Paxton’s partnership with Jarrison Systems re-affirms its long-term strategy of supporting South African installers in exploring an existing gap in the security market. He added, “The integration with Jarrison represents a key partnership for both parties, complementing the strengths of each organisation.

“Jarrison’s Time and Attendance model complements Paxton’s Net2 access control system, combining to provide an innovative solution for the marketplace. Our objective now will be to continue our engagement with our expanding installer network to educate them on the benefits of this solution which combines time and attendance management with access control.”

Founded in 2003, South Africa-based Jarrison Systems supplies, installs and maintains time and access solutions using biometric systems, delivering bespoke solutions for its customers.

Jason Matthews, managing director, said: “Jarrison Time and Paxton Net2 access control are highly compatible with one another. The integration provides a complete solution to all time and attendance requirements and we look forward to receiving feedback from our installers on the product.”
