New company for communications, radio and GPRS networks

Newly established ERS Networks specialises in the development, design and provision of communications, radio and GPRS networks.

Within the Johannesburg-based company’s product range is a number of well-known brand names that have serviced the South African industry for more than 30 years. The range covers Pi RF Remotes, alarm control panels, QD long-range radio transmitters, single and dual SIM GPRS communicators, RF repeaters, RF to GPRS repeaters and RF and GPRS base stations.

Frank Fowles, the GM, who has honed his business skills in this sector for the past 47 years commented that the company has existing operational and technological infrastructures, with a fully equipped production assembly line and state-of-the-art quality testing facilities. The 20 experienced staff members include an internal and external sales force and specialist software engineers. A strong focus going forward will be on customised product and system development for clients.

ERS Networks is a sister company to ERS Biometrics. The two companies expect an exchange of technologies with backup on technical and 24-hour service support provided through ERS Biometric’s established nationwide network.
