The EX36 night vision corner camera is designed to provide high-quality optics of the entire room, including all four of its walls and every square foot of floor space on a day/night basis, even extreme darkness.
"To see the entire room, including all of the walls, is important in psychiatric care facilities," says Melissa Bailey, Regional Sales Manager for Extreme CCTV. "The EX36 camera's night vision capability and design for safety make it the preferred specification for video monitoring in prison cells and hospital care rooms."
Other safety features include a no-grip design, flush-mount detailing and recessed safety screws, tough polycarbonate windows. According to Bailey, the EX36 is now approved by authorities at the USA Federal Bureau of Prisons at Corrections Canada, and at Corrections New Zealand where 250 units were already installed for a prison project landed by Detection Systems.
