Extreme CCTV, manufacturer of night vision products, has released its EX26NX as a remote surveillance IDN camera.
The EX26NX is an integrated day/night (IDN) camera with even illumination night performance to 75 ft (24 m). Requiring only 7 W, the EX26NX can be battery-operated and connected to wireless transmitters to send its video information to more accessible locations.
"An all-weather infrared surveillance camera that can pull a great picture out of the dark 75 ft away using only 7 W of power is significant for wherever there is limited power. Most cameras require a lot of visible lighting to achieve usable pictures at night, but the EX26NX gets the job done in the dark under its self-generated infrared illumination," says Jack Gin, President of Extreme CCTV.
