The SLP-275 V from Saltek is a reliable single pole Class 2 varistor-based surge arrester to protect against induced surge currents in installations in LV distributions at the boundary of LPZ 1 and LPZ 2 zones. The module guards against overvoltage effects induced during a lightning strike and switching over-voltages.
Operating on a 230 V AC nominal voltage, the module has a 40 kA (8/20 μs) maximum discharge current, a 25 ns response time and operates in a -40 to +80°C temperature range.
The SLP-275 V features a replaceable varistor module and has visual fault signalling. It meets EN61643-11 +A11 standards and IP20 protection requirements. Saltek is represented locally by Surgetek.
