Flexi Cuffs are manufactured in South Africa to US standards. They are extremely strong and cost only a fraction of traditional metal handcuffs. One of the benefits to these cuffs is that they do not use keys, so there are no worries about losing the key. Also, being disposable, transmissible diseases are not easily spread and officers can easily carry multiple flexi cuffs, allowing them to restrain several offenders at a crime scene.
