Suprema integrates with Jarrison Time

June 2013 Access Control & Identity Management

Designed and developed in South Africa, Jarrison Time is a time and attendance (T&A) and access control system. There is no limit to the number of employees or users operating the software, each operator can be restricted to whom they can view or edit and what actions they can perform within the software. With continued demand for new features and enhancements from existing customers, Jarrison Time has evolved into a feature rich, ever-growing software solution.

The latest development includes the integration of the Suprema range of biometric readers. “We are now able to enter a new and exciting market,” says Jason Matthews, MD at Jarrison Systems.

Jarrison Time implements T&A rules according to your business needs while fully complying with all labour regulations. Furthermore, it seamlessly integrates into the leading payroll packages including VIP, Pastel, SAP. In fact, the on-board file creator can be used to customise the export to suit any payroll’s import format.

The report creator allows you to design your own reports using any of the fields within the software. Jarrison Time also boasts visitor management and automatic SMS or e-mailing of custom built reports. SMS and e-mail notifications have also proven to be useful for off-line devices and employee reminders.

Jarrison Time has been managing time since 2003 and has been implemented by over 500 clients, in eight countries across Africa, managing payroll for over 200 000 employees on a monthly basis.

“In 2012, Jarrison Systems completed development to integrate with Suprema’s BioStar database to enable full payroll functionality for BioStar users. Due to the large demand for Suprema’s terminals, we made a decision to take this further and now we directly integrate with Suprema’s popular T&A devices to offer an integrated end-to-end solution without the need for BioStar.

“This gives us the ability to expand our software distribution by adding time functionality at existing Suprema end-users, or to offer a more sophisticated integrated solution for those that need this.

“For us, system and software integration that delivers specialised solutions is essential. Solutions that add value to Suprema resellers and end-users is key to our model. We welcome integrators with open arms and our software development team is always keen on lending their experience to integrate Suprema into new solutions. Working with Jarrison’s team in achieving this was an absolute pleasure. We are excited that Suprema is now part of Jarrison Time and that it is also an option for their distribution channel,” says Walter Rautenbach, MD at neaMetrics, local Suprema distributor.
