Kantech releases EntraPass v5.02

April 2013 Access Control & Identity Management

Kantech, part of Tyco Security Products, has introduced the latest version of its flagship EntraPass security software, offering expanded video integration options to assist customers in managing their ever-changing access control security needs.

EntraPass v5.02 includes support for Panasonic video surveillance technology in its Corporate and Global Editions. EntraPass also enables integration with American Dynamics VideoEdge NVR v4.2, allowing users to view, manage and control video being recorded on the NVR via the software. EntraPass Global Edition can connect to an unlimited number of video servers for complete scalability of the system.

“Providing greater video integration is important for customers whether they are managing one building or multiple sites from a network,” said Rafael Schrijvers, product marketing manager, EMEA. “This expansion to the EntraPass software is a direct response to the growing significance of video management within access control solutions.”

With a new auto-updater feature, EntraPass v5.02 ensures that users always have the latest version of the EntraPass software solution. In addition, the new version of EntraPass provides full integration with the KYO expandable hybrid alarm panels from Bentel.

EntraPass v5.02 also supports the EntraPass Go mobile security application that can be used with both smartphones and tablet computers to control more than 20 security tasks in real-time. EntraPass is a robust suite of high-performance software that allows customers to design and operate any number of doors where card access is required. It is compatible with Kantech’s entire line of door controllers.
