The Advantage Line product range from Bosch, designed for video surveillance applications, combines professional security features with affordability. This makes the Advantage Line a good choice for smaller installations. To offer even more flexibility with this integrated solution, the digital video recorder (DVR) series 440/480 and 600 now also support third-party hard disks, allowing customers to use their preferred or existing drives. A list of tried-and-tested third-party hard disks is given in the instruction manual.
Bosch will continue to offer its own professional hard disks with their 24/7 operating capability and three-year warranty, alongside opening up the Advantage Line DVRs to third-party products.
