Equipped with a 1/3-inch 1,3-megapixel progressive scan Aptina CMOS sensor, the Dahua DH-IPC_HF3101 allows for a resolution of 1280x720 (720P) in real-time. This camera uses H.264 compression with dual-stream encoding. An outstanding feature is the Digital Wide Dynamic Range (DWDR) capability allowing for scenes with contrasting dark and light areas. Automatic infrared cut removal filter (ICR) with 2D noise reduction allows for a cleaner picture in low lux conditions.
PoE allows for ease of installation and a reduction in cabling with both video and power running through one CAT5 cable. The SD card slot allows for backup recording when the network is down or unavailable. Audio (in & out) is available using G.711a compression. Set up and configuring of the camera is stress-free using a Webviewer interface compatible with most Web browsers.
