ADI Global Distribution South Africa has announced the appointment of Brendon Land as country manager, South Africa. In this role, Land will have full responsibility for the sales and local business operations in South Africa. He will be responsible for leading the local business teams, focusing on driving revenue, growth, operating income and service excellence.
Land brings with him knowledge and experience of sales and management experience that he gained over the past 20 years. In 2001 he relocated to the United Kingdom to take on the role of channel manager for Epson’s retail technology division and was promoted to UK and international sales manager one year later. Returning to South Africa in 2007, Land was appointed to the role of country manager for ViewSonic. Prior to joining ADI, he set up the Samsung Semiconductor division in South Africa where, in the role of country sales manager, he had overall responsibility for the development and management of the business.
