Intelligent intruder detection and perimeter alert

The biggest challenge for all the traditional intruder detection and perimeter alert systems is the false alarm rate causing the surveillance team to drop their state of alert or the extended alertness because of false alarms causes resource burn-out. The second biggest challenge for such systems is the installation cost which can be extremely high for long perimeters because of the large amount of wiring required.

Security & Communication Warehouse offers VCA (video content analysis) as an alternative to the traditional systems. The VCA can be embedded on an IP camera or analogue capture card. The full Digi-iT VCA software offers object recognition, people counting and lots of other intelligent filters that can be customised to eliminate false alarms.

The VCA can be set up with virtual perimeter lines or so called no-go zones on existing analogue cameras which are already monitoring the perimeters or forbidden zones by using the Digi-iT VCA software and DVR capture cards.
