Training available

May 2001 News & Events

The FDIA has successfully presented a training course for the only fire detection standard acceptable in South Africa, SABS 0139/BS5839 for the last year to its members. The Association has now opened this course for all interested parties.

The course covers the design installation inspection and maintenance of fire detection systems covering detector positioning coverage and layouts as well as cabling and warning device installation.

All courses are held in conjunction with the FPA at their college in Jet Park and are for a full day. Interested persons should contact the Association.
