Trade between Thailand and South Africa in the electronics industry has seen significant growth in recent years, with total exports to South Africa of electrical equipment and parts reaching US$10,2m in 2000.
Now, South African importers, buyers and businesses in the electronics sector will have the opportunity to explore what Thailand has to offer at the first multisectoral trade exhibition of its kind in southern Africa to be held at the Sandton Convention Centre from 9-11 May 2001.
Thailand Exhibition 2001 - an important platform for furthering trade relations between Thailand and South and southern Africa - is organised by the Department of Export Promotion - Ministry of Commerce - in cooperation with the Office of Commercial Affairs: Royal Thai Embassy.
