Risco Group, which recently took over a controlling interest in South Africa's Sesco Security, has agreed to acquire Gardiner Technology, a security manufacturer and distributor in the UK.
Risco is the parent company of Rokonet Electronics, Homex Network Solutions, SpotFire Control Systems and See-TV Secured Environment Electronics.
The acquisition will broaden Risco's product line and offer new opportunities to its customers.
Risco intends to promote parallel branding and will continue to enhance and expand the companies within the group independently. "Risco's position within the US, Far East and European markets will allow Gardiner Technology to accomplish greater penetration into other markets," says Moshe Alkelai, Risco Chairman.
Risco, through internal growth, expects to achieve a turnover of $100m by the end of 2001.
