The E-Ultra-8000 is an ultra-wide-dynamic dome camera with infrared LED illumination. Utilising the Pixim Digital Pixel Imaging System, it is able to provide unsurpassed performance in lighting conditions where many normal dome cameras fail.
It utilises a hi-tech method of image exposure. With normal CCD cameras, pixels are sampled simultaneously. The result being certain parts of the image being too bright or too dark. With the technology used in the E-ULTRA-8000, each pixel is sampled individually. In other words, each pixel is in reality an individual camera. Good quality images are thus provided in situations of great contrasts in light, ie, bright and dark light in one picture.
Typical applications for this camera include covering entry points/exits leading to direct sunlight and any situation where bright and dark light is affecting the camera's image.
