ADT Security has made a clean sweep of several leading awards ceremonies - particularly in KwaZulu-Natal.
The awards include the Daily News 'reader's choice' which voted ADT Security as the region's best security company, and a KwaZulu-Natal PMR (Professional Management Review) Award for enhancing the province's economic growth and development.
The PMR award is judged on the results of a secret ballot conducted among corporate, local and provincial government in the region.
This recognition, says ADT's KwaZulu-Natal managing director, Jason Margach, is proof that clients, staff and government have taken note of the company's contribution to the region's security and economy.
Not only has the company recently invested in a state-of-the-art GPS tracking system for all its armed response vehicles, which assists the company in streamlining and improving its response times and distribution of staff, but it has also invested in training its staff - across the board - in the Big 5 principles. Specialist training programmes and ongoing communication encourages all staff to be professional, reliable, competent, honourable and proactive.
The company's high standard of excellence in the security industry is indicative of South Africans' willingness to adopt and embrace new technology and systems, Margach adds, pointing out that it is this proactive trend in the industry, together with new market sectors, that will help the industry maintain its current stable, and effective, track record.
