Security upgrade for Grootvlei Prison

Grintek Ewation's Security Systems division has successfully completed a multimillion Rand project at Grootvlei Prison in Bloemfontein.

The total project consists of the construction of a taut wire perimeter fence, which serves as an early detection on the perimeter, the installation of dome cameras and fixed cameras on the perimeter and the main gate for visual detection, as well as lights on the perimeter for better visibility. All these were integrated into a central control room for monitoring.
