September 2004 Access Control & Identity Management

GSC Systems has released PinLock and PinLock-Plus, two new standalone access control keypads. The keypads are cost effective, user friendly and are simple to program. The attractive housing allows quick installation. PinLock is distributed by Elvey International.

The 180-10 Standard PinLock features 12 keys; stores 800 PIN codes (up to 10 digits long); is fully programmable from the keypad; one relay for door strike; two auxilliary outputs for bell, CCTV control, alarm output, etc; two inputs for door sensing, exit pushbutton, external lock, or alarm reset; and lockout mode after invalid PINs

The 180-20 PinLock-PLUS features all 180-10 features plus: transaction logging with date/time; connection to a PC through RS232 port; fully programmable from PC; user date expiry/access counters; and reporting software.
