ShrinkStop is looking for a Gauteng-based manufacturer of either food, pharmaceutical or chemical products who would be interested in running a three-month pilot project of its secure goods custody transfer system.
The complete system will incorporate PCs, software, bar code scanner, conveyors, PLC, four cameras and a Geuterbruck multiscope and Garvens check-weigher and will be implemented on a single receiving/despatch lane.
"We are limiting potential pilot sites to manufacturers with a budget of R250 000 to address secure goods custody transfer and requiring electronic proof of delivery," says Marc Ashton, ProLoCon director. "We have focused on the food and pharmaceutical industries as we have a lot of experience with their regulations and requirements."
