Panasonic has introduced two new colour video monitors for closed circuit video equipment (CCVE) systems that boast a cost reduction of up to 45%.
"The new monitors are cased in a plastic chassis, which is how such a high cost reduction is achieved. The CK2020, a 20" monitor, costs 45% less than a WV-CM2000 metal unit, while the CK1420, a 14" monitor, has a 30% cost reduction against the conventional metal cased WV-CM1430," says Mags Anthony, Divisional Director of Panasonic Broadcast and Television Systems.
The CK1420 has a diagonal actual visual size of approximately 13" and 330 TV lines high resolution, while the CK2020 has a diagonal actual visual size of approximately 20" and high resolution of 500 TV lines. Both monitors have looping BNC connectors for video input and output; looping RCA connectors for audio input and output; and a maximum of 0,7 W for speaker output.
