Protection for low-lit areas

Philips Communication, Security & Imaging (CSI) offers a range of perimeter security solutions aimed at ensuring early detection of unauthorised intrusion on the perimeter - even in low-lit areas.

Two of the high performance digital surveillance camera's available from Philips are the LTC0500 monochrome and LTC 0600 colour cameras, both of which offer high-quality sensitivity to light and colour.

The LTC 0600 series

Perimeters are often plagued by low lighting levels with low contrast that makes surveillance difficult. Through the use of the LTC0500 and LTC0600 cameras one can obtain fast and accurate interpretation of targets, even if hiding in the shadows. CCTV operators are able to receive consistently sharp, realtime images and adjust the camera as necessary, by remote control.

Both cameras have patented signal processing to extend the sensitivity and dynamic range, while the host of automatic functions and system options guarantees offers easy installation. The LTC0600 Series provides extensive colour analysis and logic that automatically provides white balance over a wide colour temperature range, resulting in realism and clarity of colour images. The user can also optimise settings for specific situations such as day, night and emergency light conditions.
