HID Global has announced that it has received Professional Security Installer (PSI) magazine’s PSI Premier Award for Access Control Manufacturer of the Year 2009. With award recipients having been nominated and voted on by security installers and industry professionals, HID’s recognition only further highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality products, solutions and services to the United Kingdom security industry.
Representing the fifth consecutive year that HID has been nominated for this prestigious award, the PSI Premier Awards event brought together professional security installers, manufacturers, service providers, distributors and end-users to honour the recipients for their outstanding achievements in the areas of product quality, customer service and product innovation. Seen as one of the most prestigious awards in the UK electronic security industry, the award was presented to HID on 9 June, 2009 during the PSI Premier Golf Day event held at the Moor Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire, England.

Votes were cast in five different categories, including best corporate image, most creative stand, best new product, most visited booth and best technology and service.
