Gated communities and suburban homeowners’ associations have become a key focus for the FTTH industry in South Africa. Over the last 18 months many of them decided to no longer wait for fibre to reach them – they have taken the step to take ownership of fibre deployment in their areas and gone to tender to find the best possible solution for the community in which they work, live and play.
