Turnstar Systems

The Turnstar Guardian road blocker is a 500 mm high and 1,5 metre wide road blocker which provides bi-directional vehicular protection. It is available in lengths of 1,5 up to 5 m. Unlike other road blockers on the market that rise to only 45° and offer one-way protection, the Guardian rises to an upright angle of 90° thereby providing bi-directional security for vehicles approaching from either direction.

The Turnstar Charisma is a half-height glass turnstile suitable for upmarket corporate environments. The brushed stainless steel centre column incorporates a heavy-duty motor that does the work for the pedestrian. One simply swipes an access card and the turnstile glass wing automatically opens for free passage of pedestrians.

The Turnstar mantrap cubicle models are manually opened by hand. The launch of the Turnstar automatic mantrap cubicle at IFSEC SA 2014 heralds a new era of mantrap cubicles that open automatically, allowing for the passage of pedestrians, wheelchairs and pushchairs/prams. The automatic mantrap cubicle has been engineered to ensure ease of use, combined with security.

The Speedstile Secure is Turnstar System’s first full-height Speedstile and with an opening time of 1 second, is designed for heavy-duty use and high throughput. Constructed with toughened safety glass wings, and is 1,8 metre high. Absolute personal safety is provided with the inclusion of optical light curtains which are fitted on either side of the glass wings. The Speedstile includes anti-tailgate technology and can be fitted with a UPS for automatic opening in the event of a power failure.
