HID Mobile Access merges security and convenience at the door by turning smartphones and other mobile devices into trusted, easy-to-use credentials that can replace keys and smart cards. It is an end-to-end solution that includes digital credentials, a portal, apps, readers and interfaces to other systems.

Powered by Seos technology, it provides users a compelling new way to open doors with a close proximity tap of a smartphone to a reader or to access doors and gates from a distance (up to 10 metres) with their smartphones and HID Global’s patented “Twist and Go” gesture technology. It supports Bluetooth Smart and NFC to securely open doors with smartphones and other smart devices (including wearables), while enabling the future use of smart devices for a range of applications (PC login, biometrics and more).

A critical element of the HID Mobile Access solution is the ease of issuing, managing and revoking mobile IDs to smartphones via the Secure Identity Services portal. It is designed for administrator convenience and operational efficiencies providing an intuitive experience for provisioning and revoking mobile IDs.
