Rodolf Botha says that the event exceeded all his expectations and the general responsiveness to the company’s product range was extremely good. He continues that it was great to get direct feedback from the end users on what systems best suit their needs. This allows ZKTeco to refine and customise specific technology to provide maximised optimisation.
He points out that all locally disseminated ZKTeco technology is designed and manufactured with the demanding South African environment in mind. Not only can specific products be used outdoors where they are exposed to harsh sunlight and rain, but they are also built to withstand physical abuse from users.
The company elected to exhibit the ZKTeco F17 and F18 biometric readers, the MultiBio 700 facial recognition reader, a four-channel NVR and dome cameras.
The F17 allows for the capturing of 3000 fingerprint templates and 50 000 transactions while the F18 allows for the capturing of 3000 fingerprint templates and 30 000 transactions. The MultiBio 700 allows for the capturing of 1500 facial templates 2000 fingerprint templates and 100 000 transactions.
This dual-mode reader has a TFT colour touch screen which provides ease of use. It uses state of the art imaging technology while also providing hygienic 100% touch-free biometric authentication. The MultiBio 700 uses ZK’s latest face and fingerprint matching algorithms and can match up to 1500 faces and 2000 fingerprints.
