Saltek’s SLP-275 VS is a single-pole Class 2 surge arrester designed to protect against induced lightning surge currents or localised switching surges in LV networks.
With its replaceable varistor module and visual fault signalling, the modular surge arrester is installed at the boundary of LPZ 1 and LPZ 2. The arrester provides remote status signalling (S) via the potentially free changeover contact. Multi-functional terminals allow flexibility in connection, as well as with other DIN rail mounted devices in the distribution board.
SLP-275 VS has a nominal discharge current 20 kA (8/20 μs), a maximum discharge current 40 kA (8/20 μs) and a 25 ns response time. Fault indication is provided by a red indicator flag in the inspection window.
Suitable for use in a –40°C to +80°C temperature range, SLP-275 VS meets the requirements of standard EN 61643-11 + A11.
Saltek is represented locally by Surgetek.
