Guardian Eye, a Vox Telecom product, is extending an offer to CCTV implementers and distributors to make use of its national control room, data and network infrastructure services and in so doing, earn annuity revenue.
Says Niven Perumal, product manager for Vox Telecom’s Guardian Eye: “Utilising open system architecture enables integration into existing CCTV cameras on their platforms, allowing client selected cameras to be monitored.
“We have also catered for high availability and disaster recovery in terms of disparate data centres and links, ensuring 99.9% uptime on the monitoring environment.”
The 24 x 7 x 365 control room comprises a comprehensive system driven standard operating procedure (SOP), which ensures that no one is able to bypass the procedures that are custom loaded per client profile unless each step is followed and completed. Reporting is scheduled to give the client insight into guarding patrol, staff generated, general and incident alerts.
Vox Telecom is resourced with its own CCTV project and technical manager aimed at partnering with CCTV implementers to assist with their clients’ network and alerting related issues, bringing the solution online seamlessly.
“We believe that there is an opportunity for CCTV implementers and distributors to not only offer a value added service to new or existing clients with CCTV requirements or implementations, but also earn additional annuity revenue,” concludes Perumal.
