Brett Birch GM for Technoswitch

Technoswitch, a southern African manufacturer/importer and distributor of fire detection equipment has announced the appointment of Brett Birch as general manager.

Birch has had extensive experience in the fire detection market having been involved in the industry from 1994 to 2007. During this period he fulfilled numerous roles from sales to key management roles for GE Security. After a brief absence of two and a half years, Birch returned to the industry and fulfilled the role of business development manager for Technoswitch for a period of four years.

“A growing company presents its own unique challenges and in time management and leadership changes are inevitable. As a result we have needed to make some changes to our top management structure,” says Carlos Watcher, MD for Technoswitch. “I have no doubt that Brett’s experience and standing in the industry will be of huge benefit to Technoswitch and our customers.”
