The eSkan mobile terminal is a low-cost device primarily designed to scan and decode the South African driver’s licence and vehicle licence disk, even in direct sunlight.

What makes this product further unique is that it is a locally designed product and it is manufactured in Silverton, Gauteng. It is battery-operated and the screen is also sunlight readable.
