Intelligent text overlay for point of sales management

The introduction of IP-based cash registers has markedly increased data available to businesses. In order to make use of this extended data, advanced data mining has become a necessity.

With Digi-IT’s reporting tools the raw data can be transformed into useful business intelligence. Reports including traffic and sales at points, as well as alarms and actions for certain targeted items can be set up.

Newly integrated IP systems include the first approved system for Pick ‘n Pay’s NCR RealPOS system. Among 26 other popular local systems are those used by Engen, Shell, and officially approved integration for Spar and Shoprite centres. Integration with new systems is also easy, requiring only sample data from the system in case of serial systems.

Additionally the dual-streaming of Digi-IT’s IP systems give the NVRs sufficient speed to display the POS data real-time with the IP video stream allowing IP cameras with P-Iris lenses to operate as POS cameras.
