In its continued drive to provide customers with world-class technical support, access automation manufacturer Centurion Systems has expanded its call centre to include speakers of all 11 official South African languages as well as Portuguese, Spanish and French. The company currently exports their brand of gate operators, traffic barriers and access control products to, among other countries, French-speaking regions such as Cameroon and Mauritius and predominantly Portuguese-speaking countries such as Mozambique and Angola, and the addition of competent technicians fluent in both of these languages enables them to provide a higher standard of technical support.
In addition to their linguistic abilities, all of Centurion’s support technicians are highly skilled and hold various technical qualifications; they have also received extensive training on all Centurion access automation products from both the company’s product trainers and the support training facilitator, Dumisani Sibeko.
Centurion’s technical manager, Bernard Boonzaaier, said, “In our competitive market, it is very important for us to establish good communication channels with our diverse clientele. Although English is the dominant language in which most support centres operate, it is not the primary language in many countries, so for us it was logical to deploy multilingual resources in our call centre. By doing this we naturally not only improved our support services, but also provide maximum customer satisfaction by being able to speak our customers’ language.”
The Centurion technical support call centre is open weekdays from 7 am until 6 pm and can be reached on +27 (0)11 699 2481.
