FTP Africa will be displaying the FFT Aura, a medium range, highly sensitive fibre optic intrusion detection system that can be applied to both fence mounted and buried applications. It is designed to detect intrusions on most types of fences, and can be covertly buried in the ground across open areas to detect footsteps, vehicle movements and digging.
Also on display will be Secure Point, a highly sensitive yet economical dual zone fibre optic intrusion detection controller, specifically designed to detect intrusions on smaller perimeter chain link, weld mesh and palisade fences. Advanced signal processing and event discrimination is employed resulting in better event detection with reduced nuisance alarms. Multiple controllers can be deployed to protect those sites or applications requiring more than two zones. FTP Africa will be in Hall 2, Stand HL36.
