X-Series protection

The X-Series from IDS is a scalable hybrid security system that is easy to use and cost effective to expand to 16 zones on the X16 and up to 64 zones on the X64, eight partitions; 128 users and a 1000 even log comes standard.

The X-Series has a host of unique features for the South African market aimed at providing the user with an intuitive and easy to use experience. Features such as 'buzz zones' provide early warning when armed in the stay profile. It also offers four user stay profiles for greater user flexibility, creating levels of stay arming as it becomes the norm for homeowners to activate outdoor detectors while at home. Both these features are user programmable.

The X-Series has been tried and tested in South Africa and is reliable, robust and has immunity against lightning. With the incorporation of the Duevi wireless detectors into the X-Series, this series offers true hybrid installation flexibility where wiring cannot be achieved, or where aesthetics are key. This offers installers the flexibility to do more installations per day utilising fewer resources.

Four wireless detectors in the series cover most indoor and outdoor applications and have industry leading wireless range.
