Loop installation, and the commissioning process in particular, can be daunting at the best of times. Getting the sensitivity level exactly right, tuning out external interference and of course diagnosing any fault conditions that may have arisen are all elements that seem to conspire to frustrate the hapless installer.
A new access control innovation from Centurion Systems heralds the end of recalcitrant ground loops. The FLUX 11 is a highly sensitive 11-pin inductive loop detector for vehicle access applications, and interfaces seamlessly with the 11-pin bases found in the majority of these systems. This unit offers useful audible and visual feedback – including indication of the loop detection level – as well as a Permanent Presence feature, dedicated reset button and easy-to-use dip switches for convenient configuration.
In addition, the FLUX 11 provides both a pulse and a presence relay, allowing for great versatility. A low voltage 12 V DC as well as a powerful 230 V AC model is available.
