ORYX conventional fire panels

The recently launched second-generation ORYX 2- and 4-zone standard conventional fire panels are housed in an attractive, modern ABS enclosure and the 8-zone panel in a powder-coated metal housing. Both enclosure versions are durable and have been designed for ease of installation.

An IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure, with or without a DIN rail wiring strip, is available for industrial and outdoor applications.

The integral switch mode power supply has a wide AC voltage input range of 100 V AC to 240 V AC, making it ideal for scenarios with widely fluctuating mains supply. The battery charging capabilities of the power supply allow for the connection of 7 Ah batteries.

Either two, four, or eight fire zones are provided, each supporting up to 32 devices. The panels offer General Fire and Fault Relays, either two, four or eight programmable relays, two programmable monitored sounder circuits and two programmable monitored inputs.

Comprehensive test and fault-finding features simplify maintenance. These include a one-man walk-test, a first-in-first-out 1000 event log and onboard status LEDs for pin-point fault identification.

The SOLAR software application is used to customise the panel’s programmable features, providing flexibility not generally associated with conventional panels.

The ORYX repeater panels, housed in either an ABS or weatherproof enclosure, mimic all the master fire panel’s alarm indications. Up to seven repeater panels can be wired in series onto the communication bus. The repeater panel range is available with or without a built-in power supply.

The ORYX range is fully compliant with EN 54-2 and EN 54-4 and carries a 3-year warranty.
